People, dressed to the nines, pour into the only source of light in the street: the theatre. Blazing triumphantly, it proclaims current plays and heralds ones in the making. Laughter echoes in the foyer, where crowds mill around and seek guidance to their seats. Once they're settled, the lights go down, the curtain rises, and the first actor steps out onto an empty stage... welcome to London, where you have to succeed to survive. We are active.
